Designing a workshop?

Well consider consider gamestorming, which is quite simply put, the using of games to facilitate brainstorming or other idea creation activities. The business world, in their need to remain competitive, is constantly on the lookout for fresh ideas and concepts to take their product or service forward. As such, many workshop experts and facilitators have developed sets of best workshop practices using games and other physical activity to get people to basically brainstorm and discuss together.

Here is a particularly useful sampler from the book “Step 214: A Review of Gamestorming: A Playbook for Innovators, Rulebreakers, and Changemakers” that’s worth a look. A plethora of frameworks and game examples are discussed. Whether it is building empathy, reviewing company culture or devising solutions for a particular issue, you’ll probably find something of some use there.
